We Don't Issue Diplomas. We Issue Receipts.
Agentic-U is the foundations — manifesto, curriculum, articles, and the founders ai lab — for operators who refuse to be quietly replaced. A school built on signed work, not sat-through lectures.
a hunter & thomas, inc. institution · accredited against the DAA standard from governable ai
Agentic-U is the institution at the operator end of a small system of foundations. Hunter & Thomas, Inc. is the parent. Governable AI publishes the standard. Agentic-U does the training and signs the receipts. Three foundations, one mission — build, accredit, and prove the operator class that comes after the diploma.
the foundations.
Hunter & Thomas, Inc. — the parent. Founded 9 March 2026 by Ryan Hunter and Van Thomas. The holding company under which Agentic-U and Governable AI both operate.
Governable AI — the standards body. Publishes the Delegated Agency Assurance (DAA) standard for systems that act on a human's behalf. Van Thomas is Founder & CEO. Every receipt Agentic-U issues is signed against a current version of the DAA.
Agentic-U — the institution. The training, the rooms, the signing keys, the receipts. Operators are accredited inside Agentic-U; their receipts attest against the DAA.
what we mean by accredited.
Agentic-U is not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. We do not pretend to be. The accreditation that matters in the exponential is not against a 1965 federal framework written for brick universities. It is against a current, machine-readable, version-controlled standard for what operators must be able to prove.
That standard is the Delegated Agency Assurance standard, published in the open by Governable AI. The rubrics are public. The signing keys are auditable. The receipts are portable. If the standard updates, the new receipts update. Receipts issued under prior versions remain dated and visible — there is no silent inflation, no quiet backdating, no theatre.
This is the only kind of accreditation that survives a world where the underlying technology rewrites itself every six months.
what the founders look like.
Ryan Hunter — substrate, implementer, validator. Two years running a live agent stack against real P&L. Built the technical infrastructure that Hunter & Thomas, Governable AI, and Agentic-U all share. CTO across the system. The person who can hold both ontologies — the operator's mental model and the agent stack's executable model — in one head and ship against both.
Van Thomas — namer, positioner, membrane between substrate and market. Founder & CEO of Governable AI. Sells the DAA standard into the regulated industries that need it most. CEO of the brand layer that makes the institutional work legible to the market. The person who makes sure the receipts mean something outside the room that issued them.
Revelation plus liturgy. Law plus language. Build the thing; make it legible. That is the founder pairing. That is why three institutions, not one.
a group of remarkable people.
We are not assembling a customer list. We are assembling a founding ring. Fifteen operators a year, hand-selected by message and conversation, who become the founding signatures on the DAA standard for the operator class.
These are savage operators. Founders, CTOs, COOs, principal engineers, agency leads, healthcare ops, legal ops, fund managers — the people who carry real businesses on real money and who refuse to be quietly replaced by their own stacks. The room is small because the work is real and every artefact has to be marked. The room is annual because a room that turns over monthly is not a room. The room closes on June 1, 2026 because cohort 02 needs cohort 01's receipts to exist.
what the brand promises.
- the curriculum is free and stays free — Five pillars of operator practice, with linked essays for each. We do not gate the knowledge. We gate the room. The curriculum exists so the standard is legible to anyone who wants to evaluate the receipts.
- the rubrics are public and stay public — Every receipt is signed against a version of the DAA standard published in the open by Governable AI. You can read the rubric an operator was accredited against. You can pull a prior version. You can compare two operators' receipts against the same version.
- the room is paid — we do not pretend otherwise — Cohort 01 is fifteen seats. $10,000 annual. June 1, 2026. The price does the customer selection so the room does not have to do it badly later.
- the institution moves at the speed of the exponential — The DAA standard updates as the underlying technology updates — every six months, in public, with a versioned diff. If we are wrong about a rubric, we will say so in public and update the next version. No silent rewrites.
press, partnerships, inquiries.
Press inquiries — press@governable-ai.com. Press is handled at the parent / standards-body layer because the news is almost always about the standard, not the institution.
Institutional partnerships — partnerships@hunterandthomas.com. For employers, investors, accelerators, regulators, and other institutions that want to recognize, license, or build on Agentic-U receipts.
Cohort inquiries — lab@agenticu.org, or just message the room directly via the founders ai lab page.
